Accreditation
In May 2005, our practice was granted a full three year accreditation by the American Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Accreditation means that our practice has been inspected by the AAAHC, a national organization that surveys physician office-based surgeries and has successfully met their high standards of quality, quality control, and safety for the surgical services we provide our patients.

Dr. Fisher was one of a few cosmetic surgeons privileged to attend Dr. Henry Baylis’ Blepharoplasty Workshop in Santa Monica California. The Contour ThreadLift
Insertion of permanent “barbed” polypropylene sutures (Contour Threads) into the brows, cheeks, jowls, and/or neck to elevate these areas of the face and neck is an innovative minimally invasive option in facial rejuvenation. The Erchonia Laser
Recently approved for liposuction by the FDA, the Erchonia Laser improves the result of this procedure. After putting the tumescent anesthetic solution in the area to be liposuctioned, we shine the light from the Erchonia Laser over this area. The pain free cool light from this laser improves the results of liposuction and reduces postoperative pain.

Improvements To Our FotoFacial/RF Treatment
Syneron, the manufacturer of our FotoFacial/RF device, the Aurora, has just released a new upgraded head which improves the FotoFacial/RF treatment results. We recently purchased this head (that part which emits the intense pulse light). It is specifically designed for those patients with resistant pigmentation, rosacea and facial redness. Preliminary results on several patients who had failed to improve with previous FotoFacial/RF treatments show a dramatic improvement in pigment and redness reduction.

Restylane To The Lower Eyelids
Recently, we have started to inject Restylane, the hyaluronic acid filler, into the skin of the lower eyelids. Patients with dark circles, bags, and hollowed-out, gaunt appearing lower eyelids have been very pleased with how much Restylane improves these conditions.

The Liposuction “Tummy Tuck”
2005 saw the introduction to our practice of the Liposuction “Tummy Tuck,” an innovative surgery that combines liposuction with lower abdominal skin removal in one procedure. Those women who require both contouring by liposuction and removal of droopy, sagging, stretched out lower abdominal skin from pregnancy or weight loss can have both problems addressed at the same time with minimal down time.

The LipiVage Fat Harvest And Wash System
The LipiVage syringe system simultaneously harvests and washes a patient’s fat prior to fat transfer. Handling of the fat is significantly reduced, the entire procedure shortened and thereby, potentially improving the survival of the transferred fat.
